Danara Flores

Danara Flores is currently a PhD candidate in Colorado State Universitys Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology department. She grew up in Greeley Colorado was drawn to biology and its applifactions for disease diagnostics. She completed her undregraduate at CSU in 2019 with a bachelor's in microbiology. She became a graduate research associate in the Avanzi lab in 2024. She is currently working on drug resistance and diagnostic testing in leprosy. She enjoys how Leprosy research enables her to contribute to the understanding of zoonotic human diseases.
